Maintenance
Along with flying, Alpen Helicopters is an Approved Maintenance Organization for Bell 206 series, as well as Robinson R22 and R44.
Alpen Helicopters employs two licensed AMEs to maintain their fleet. Between them there is 25 years of experience both out in the field and back home in the shop.
Alpen's fleet isn't all that we maintain, we also have a number of private owners whose aircraft come in for regular maintenance and repair.
Our shop is rated for work on Bell 206 models, Eurocopter AS 350 models, and Robinson R22 and R44 models. Our AMEs have manufacturers approved training on these types. We also have a selection of tools to get the job done properly including a Chadwick 8500 vibration analyzer. We have had customer comments praising what an incredibly smooth and comfortable ride they have had in our helicopters.
If you bring your helicopter to us, we can provide the following:
- A large, heated hangar - nothing is left in the rain.
- Knowledgeable, friendly staff who understand your helicopter is your livelihood,
or your prized possession. Our focus is helicopters, that's all we have ever worked
with, allowing us to have greater knowledge of how they function, how to
troubleshoot them, and how to maintain them efficiently.
- Quick turnaround times - as a helicopter operator, we know you'd rather be flying
than sitting on the ground.
- Various payment options - hourly, or flat rate for the job, we will suit your needs.
We don't appreciate outrageous bills for overhauls and repairs on our helicopters,
why would we expect you to put up with anything but a fair deal.
